Christmas comes, Christmas goes...
a hundred days before Christmas we start to prepare lists, decorations and the menu for the coming Noche Buena but didn't you notice how Christmas sneaked behind us all? we were so busy preparing that we didn't notice it was coming faster than we expected it.
imagine the night that the news announced that there's only a hundred days left before Christmas, admit it or not, that same night you also thought of the people you will present your gifts to, presents you'll open when midnight struck in the 25th, the taste of ham and Ube jam and most especially the coolness in the Christmas air.
snap! i mean it, go ahead snap. yes, i asked you to snap your fingers and observe what happens, you see? nothing happens right? but look at the other side of a snap, in a snap you can lose a person you love, and also in a snap you gain them back.
that's how Christmas pass, in a snap. after you ripped the last gift under the Christmas tree, it's done.
sad, right? after all the preparations and stuff, you realize, "oh! Christmas is really over". but it is not the kind of Christmas we must have, we should have a deeper meaning for Christmas, that Christmas is not only a season of giving, it is also a season of thanking. try to list down all the thank yous you owe from somebody, a lot right?
but the best THANK YOU you can ever give every Christmas is that Thank You that God deserves, for the BEST GIFT He gave us, His only son.Jesus Christ. Thank You Lord, Thnk You Jesus...
and to close this, Christmas doesn't go or pass, it's always here. Everyday is Christmas, Everyday is a gift from God and His son, Jesus...
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Happy Holidays!(to my other friends and readers) :)
