realization of life's goodness...

this past week was a blast for me and some of my friends. We joined ATSPAR3 10th Regional Press Congress, don't ask me what atspar is, 'cause it will surely eat up a lot of space. haha:)

allow me to give you a summary of what we did in Raven, and the things we should have done.
we came early for the registration, obviously because of the distance of our school and the extreme "driving technique" of Mr. Van Gerald Malit, (hello van! thanks for taking us to raven and fetching us, you are such a great friend!). when finished writing our names in the registration forms we went straight to our rooms, dorm A for the boys and dorm B for the girls. but as the minutes passed, carla and jentz realized there is no such thing as 'for the boys' and 'for the girls'. so they decided they will spend most of their stay inside our quarters where they can enjoy, and feel comfortable, comfortable because there are also DEMIboys in our room, (DEMIBOYS according to the 2010 Quatro's Dictionary- they are half man anf half woman).

afternoon of the first day came and competitions in the different categories started, but let's skip that because in this entry i am trying to show you life's goodness, not how life becomes challenging. Kidding aside, the experience of joining such activities made me realize how good life is, how hapy life is. and i am extremely happy for having my good friends with me, i treasure the experience of having them close when the going gets tough inside the contest areas.

it's such a great feeling when you see phinlord and carla cheering you up as you right an editorial article about RH Bill, and when night came, it started to get more interesting, laughter will slowly consume us and all we know is that life is a great trip, and having great trips mean you have great people with you. this was the best Press Congress i had so far, though i didn't win the medal with the CHED logo, i still felt like i won. you know why? because i know i did my best, i made important persons in my life proud and i have these funny friends beside me as i massage my hand after writing a BLOODY sports feature article that almost ended my career:

once again i stopped, stopped for a moment, for me to realize, life is really good...

i felt the life's goodness too during my short stay at Raven...though i wasn't able to grab a medal with a CHED logo on it too, the FUN of experiencing ATSPAR 2010 is already an award worth treasuring for me, throughout my life... although, i'm just a little frustrated for not being able to mingle with other delegates including those who stayed at room 20,,, with us...
