SSS: sea turtles, slippery rocks and sunburn...
today is a Sunday, but not an ordinary one, a day had with endangered species of the sea turtles or popularly known as "Pawikan". I enjoyed the day not only with my pawikan friends but also with my CA family, but wait there's more, we had another friend with us, i shall call him by the name "The Follower", and now back to the main thing.
Arriving in Morong, Bataan at 8 am is surely a great way to say hi to the ever present Mr. Sun. He greeted us with the warmest welcome, literally with his heat. As soon as we arrive, i just took a glimpse at a resting pawikan and then i ran swiftly to the sea, and i wasn't able to control myself because i was overjoyed when i saw the waves crashing and the kids playing along the shoreline.
We made sand sculptures ad played along the shoreline, we took an enormous amount of photos and laughter echoed from all sides. we didn't care about the people around us, we just went and did our thing, even kuya Kim Atienza of Matanglawin did not cut short our "sea addiction". There were a lot of activities for the day but we focused on having fun for ourselves, after having lunch we rented a motorized bangka and went to the far side of the beach, we went down and took a walk, big slippery rocks were scattered along the shallow area of the sea, we tip toed over the rocks avoiding the creatures beneath the water's surface.
And speaking of creatures, there were sea urchins, star fish, small fishes (i don't know what kind of fish) and something that looks like a leech and was very disgusting to look at. Kuya Nico, our tour guide i shall say made the leech-like creature look even more disgusting when he kept on squeezing it. it looked really "yucky". But aside from the sea creatures around, the best creatures i saw were my friends having a great time. it was such a reliving feeling for me, knowing when we get back to school, there will be less fun and more work.
we were so tired after the day-long activity, but something shocked me. to my surprise when i went home i noticed a change in me. i look a little darker than how i looked early in the morning, it took me two minutes to realize that sunblock already exists and i was too late, the change i had wasn't that great. I sort of heard the famous line from action movies "it's payback time", and the villain who said it... Mr.Sunburn.. :))
